What does it cost, honestly?
Between £1,750 and £3,550 depending on your plan, or from £36 a month on finance. Every plan includes a professional whitening kit and two sets of retainers (worth £725). You'll get your exact figure before you're asked to pay anything at all, and there's no charge for finding out.
How long does the whole thing take?
Around 4 to 6 weeks from first enquiry to having your aligners in hand. The plan itself typically runs 3 to 12 months depending on which one you're on.
How often do I have to go to the clinic?
Far less than you'd expect. Usually once at the start for scans, once for fitting, sometimes once in the middle, and once at the end. The daily app scan replaces most routine check-ups.
Is this actually dentist-led, or is it a mail-order thing?
Dentist-led. Your plan is designed and approved by a GDC-registered dentist, and your aligners are fitted in person at a CQC-registered partner clinic. Nothing is prescribed or fitted remotely.
Will they work for me?
That's exactly what the clinic visit is for. Your dentist assesses suitability in person before any plan is made or paid for, and if you're not suitable they'll tell you and it will have cost you nothing.
Do I have to commit to anything to get my quote?

Can I spread the cost?
Yes. 0% over 6 to 9 months, or low-APR finance over up to 60 months. Both are subject to status, age and affordability checks.
Do they hurt?
You'll feel pressure for the first day or two of each new set, which is the aligners doing their job. Most people describe it as an ache rather than pain, and it settles quickly.
Will people notice I'm wearing them?
Most likely not. They're designed to be near-invisible, and in normal conversation most people won't spot them unless you mention it.
Can I eat and drink with them in?
Take them out for everything except water. That's why the guidance is 22 hours a day, leaving you roughly two hours for meals and cleaning.
How do I clean them?
Brush them gently with a soft toothbrush and lukewarm water, and rinse before putting them back in. Nothing hot, and no harsh cleaners.
What if I lose or break a set?
Two replacements are included. Contact the clinical team through the app and they'll tell you whether to move forward a set or wait for the replacement.
What if things don't move the way the plan says?
That's the point of having a dentist involved. Your progress is reviewed as you go and the plan is adjusted if needed. One refinement set is included where you've followed the wear and scanning guidance.
What happens after I finish?
You get two sets of retainers and your professional whitening kit, both included in the price. Retainers matter: they're what stops everything drifting back over the following years.
What happens to my details?
